POTENCY OF KNOWLEDGE

    We all know the popular saying that ‘’ knowledge is power ‘’, but I’ll like to rephrase that saying ’’ knowledge if information but when applied is power’’today I will concentrate on knowledge itself not the application. The opposite of knowledge is ignorance and while ignorance is darkness, knowledge is light.knowledge brightens the face of a man, it makes his path clearer.

      For everything a man does on earth for him to have a chance to succeed he needs knowledge. I cannot over emphasize the importance of knowledge but the truth is all you solve that problem or situation that looks dark is knowledge. Even wealth cannot substitute knowledge. Even with all your money if your car develops a fault, you have to call someone who is knowledgeable in that area to help fix your car even thou the person is of a lower social status to you. You definitely can’t put money into the engine to make it work all you need to overcome that problem is knowledge.

       I wonder why people so much underestimate the importance of knowledge in some areas of life. Most people go into marriage institution without having a deep knowledge about the institution and remember ‘’ he who fails to plan, plans to fail’’.You don’t just go into marriage because you believe the other person loves you and you also love him or her, surprisingly in most broken marriages the couples still love themselves even after the divorce and why is that so? They were blinded by love and didn’t bother to know about the life journey the were embarking on.

    There is no area of life in which you don’t need knowledge to succeed .to successfully bag an academic degree you need a certain knowledge of the course you are studying and even to make money and start up a business you need knowledge of how they work.

TIME THAT MATTERS

Hello friend, hope you are having a great day?. I decided to write this article because I observed that a lot of people have not totally let go of the past especially the ugly part while some others are just too carried away by the future (mostly day dreamers) that they fail to act forgetting that the only time that exist for the moment is the present and if misused can’t be gotten back.

As we all know Time is an important element in life and the understanding is important in actualising your dreams and living a successful life. Time is divided into 3 phases ‘’the past, the present and the future’’Although all this phases are important but The time that really matters and exist is ‘’ the present’’.

        The past is gone, the future is not yet come so the only phase that can be affected is the present. Although it’s necessary to have a picture for the future and to also remember the past so as to learn from it but only the present practically matters.Dont be too carried away by what the future holds and be so engulfed or soaked up in the past that you fail to enjoy the present.

     Are you saying I should not think about my future? No, I said although you have a picture about your bright future thinking about it all day will restrain you from making necessary plans today to make the future a reality. When worry about the person that hurt you in the past or the person that might hurt you in future there is a possibility that you miss the true love that the person in your present is expressing to you.

      You just lost the last minute to the past and that’s if you didn’t enjoy it and there is a possibility that you might lose the very next minute if you fail to enjoy it.No one knows tomorrow except God, so tomorrow I say is only a dream meaning it might not come. We all have people we love either our family or friends so you don’t have to wait to tomorrow to show them how much you love them, make good use of every moment you share with your loved ones for it might be the last.

Finally beloved why wait for tomorrow to do what you could have done yesterday, today is already too late so ACT NOW. And always remember something tomorrow is today.

STRENGTH FOR THE RACE

    I Apologize for not posting for some days now, it is due to some logistics issues but thank God it has been rectified .please accept my apology.Thanks

     I was just thinking about life and the purpose of living but amidst that something drooped it my mind and its something we all know ‘’The race of life’’.I believe we all know that we all are running a race in this world, you can call it a race of destiny or a race of life but unlike the physical race we are all used it, In this race of life the winner is not the man that comes first but the man that finishes the race. We all didn’t start the race together, so there is no specific way to determine the winner of the race

    Although we all run this race of life but my race is totally different from yours, we all are competing with no one expect our personal time and destiny. This race is a marathon and marathon race unlike sprint doesn’t necessarily require speed, it requires endurance. He that endures to the end is he who is a victor. Many have fallen by the way, many have died, many people strength have been drained but still some people still finish the race. What kept them going? , not their strength but ‘’the strength’’.

    When a man has exhausted his strength and he’s about fainting he needs ‘’ the strength ‘’ to keep on going. Man is limited in his strength and ability so he needs God to keep on going. Friend the race might be enjoyable now and you might feeling that you have enough strength to carry on but a time will come when your strength will fail you and you will need one thing THE STRETGTH.

Remember when the going gets tough only the tough will get going, but what will keep the tough going  ‘’The strength ‘’.I PRAY THAT GOD STRENGHTENES US TO RUN AND FINISH THE RACE WHICH HAS BEEN SET BEFORE US IN JESUS NAME.

BACK TO THE CALVARY

    I know this topic might shock some people but please read the whole of the article before you judge.Thanks

     You might be wondering, what does he means by back to Calvary!! .yes I know Jesus has risen and he is now sitted in heavenly places and we also believe that we are sitted in heavenly places. But I put it to you that Jesus had to die to get there. I know he crucified our old man and our flesh died with him in the cross but the question is that, Is this a mere confession or an experience?

    The truth is every believer that desire to get his inheritance in Christ must first experience the cross in his cross, he must first die to flesh and live for righteousness. Beloved this death is not by mere confession is by live, practical living that shows the believer is dead to self, that he does not gratify the desires of his sinful nature.

     Our dear brother in Christ apostle Paul got to understand these things when he said in Philippians 3:10 ‘’ I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his suffering, becoming like him in his death and so somehow attain the resurrection from the dead’’.yes we know Christ has risen but as a believer you dint just jump to resurrection you must first experience the death and at this point the world and everything in it will become nothing to us.

     The extent to which you die to self and the world is the extent to which you receive the abundant life of Christ.
