IT IS FINISHED

 Still in the mood of easter lets take a look at cross                                                                 ‘’It is finished’’ one of the most significant statement of our lord Jesus Christ. After all the humiliation he received for the sake of man he said on the cross ‘’ It IS FINISHED’’ then he passed on. Man has been struggling since the fall and every attempt to save him proved abortive until God himself died. Man had been enslaved by sin and flesh, he had been trying to find his identity, he didn’t have a relationship with his father anymore because of unrighteousness. But after the statement’ ’IT IS FINISHED’’ by our lord everything began to change, the veil separating God from man was torn so man can now approach his father by fear by the blood of Jesus.

      It is finished but sadly the finished work of Christ cant still be seen in so many Christians life, they are still enslaved by sin and flesh, I then ask myself does it mean that the work Christ did on the cross was futile? No.It is finished means Jesus is victorious and he overcame for us. Brethren what still keeps you in bondage is you still think you have to do to have victory instead of believing in what Christ has done. Just believe and rest in victory of Christ you also shall overcome.

     A Christian life is a victorious life, but that victory can only be found in Jesus Christ.
