Sometimes we
wonder why people behave the way they behave but we forget that man lives from his inside.
Proverbs 4:23 ‘’ guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the
issues of life’’.The heart is so deep that its ways cannot be known. The quality
of a man’s life is a function of the quality of his heart.Matt
12:34-35 ‘’Blood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out
of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks’ ’The evil and
the good practices of man comes from the heart. ‘’The heart is deceitful above all
things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?’’ (jer 17:9).
Futhermore,The heart of man is what God deals with, God is
not very concerned about your body or face ,he is concerned about the state of
your heart. Man judges by what they see on the outside but God looks inward, he
judges you by your heart.Jer 17:10 ‘’ I the lord
search the heart and examine the mind,to reward a man according to his
conduct,according to what his deeds deserve’’.
Beloved, guard your heart diligently, let only pure, and good
things settle in there and filter out anything called evil, because whatsoever
a man thinketh in his heart so is he.
