THE CHRISTAIN LIFE PART 1(YE ARE DEAD)

Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. He who has died has been freed from sin (rom 6:6-7).Don’t you know that our old man, the man we inherited from the first man (Adam) who is responsible for us committing sin has died with Christ.Rom 6:3 and 4 talks about how those who are baptized were baptized into his death. Jesus didn’t only bear our iniquities on the cross. He also bore our old man.

      Since our old man is dead we have no reason to continue living in sin instead we are required to life in the new life which Christ has given us. We also know that the flesh (The old man) is enemity against God and it can never please him. Then we ask the question, is possible to stop living in sin? YES.I said yes, then you ask another question, how is it possible? Are we to kill our old man? NO .Jesus had already done that. What we are required to do as Christians is to live in the light of victory of what Jesus had already done on the cross. He has killed our old man, he has overcomed for us. In the next edition we would reveal how we can live in the new life that Jesus has given us.
