THE TRUE STORY OF MAN 1

Good morning friends, hope you had a good night rest?

By God grace we a starting a series titled ‘’ THE TRUE STORY OF MAN ’’This is going to be a journey through time, from the beginning of creation till now. I trust that this series will address serious issues in our Christian life and journey. And I pray that the Holy Spirit himself teaches us and lead us into all truth in Jesus name.

                              PART ONE THE MAN FROM THE BEGINNING

          After God had created animals,light,the waters  and so on, on the sixth day when he got to the climax of his creation, he created man.He formed him from the dust of the earth and breath into his nostrils finally a living soul was created, An image of God himself has been created. Then God blessed them and said to them, be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it, have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth (Gen 1:28) .His mandate was given to him and not long after his dominion started, man named all the animals in the garden and whatever he called them was their name.

       The Lord God said, It is not good for the man to be alone, I will make a helper suitable for him(Gen 2:18).and God caused Adam into a deep sleep and removed a rib from him and formed a woman ,When Adam woke up he saw her and by himself called her woman. They both lived happily in the garden, they lived in abundance of food and wealth, best of all in the evening they enjoyed fellowship with the father. Beloved I am trying to imagine how good their lives were then, they lived in peace, joy, wealth and every good thing you could ever think of. They were even naked and not ashamed but the Lord gave a rule not to eat of a tree (the tree of knowledge of good and evil) that the day they eat of that tree they shall die.

Everything went on smoothly until the day the serpent walked into the garden. He tempted eve to eat of that tree of knowledge of good and evil, she fell and also tempted her husband Adam who also fell. He told them that they will not surely die, of course they didn’t die physically but they died spiritually. MAN FELL, his eyes were opened and had exchanged his life light with life darkness. Immediately man became a new creature he noticed he was naked and tried to cover himself.coverup is one characteristic of the fallen nature, most people live a dirty, evil and wicked life in secret but when they are in public or even in the Christian brethren they cover up. Another characteristic of the fallen nature is self, flesh or whatever you call it, man who used to trust God before had become self-conscious .’’But the lord God called to the man, ‘’where are you ?  He answered ‘’ I heard you in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked so I hid himself (Gen 3:9-10). just imagine how many I’s in one sentence, man had become self-conscious.

Thanks to our merciful God, because he didn’t want man to live forever in his fallen nature although he caused him but he sent him away from the garden to prevent him from the tree of life so that man will not live fore ever in his fallen state.

The journey continues, this is just the beginning.
